13 Sep Seaside – the scent of my vacation

I’m sure you know this – you are enjoying a great time somewhere and relate this moment to a certain scent that you encountered. This happened to me while I was enjoying my beautiful Mallorca holiday. I have been sent over a a fragrance called Seaside by Toni Guard and I loved it even before I smelled it just because of the name of course! But the fragrance really justifies the name! It’s such a refreshing scent with a hint of citrus and just like the name hints on it does smell of the beach and ocean. This fragrance has become my go-to perfume while we spent our time in Mallorca, which is by far one of my favourite islands on earth.

We stayed at Sunprime Monsuau in Cala Ferrera which is a beautiful and very modern boutique hotel. I loved it! It has been renovated in June 2015 and now welcomes its guests with a super modern, all-white design. In the night the hotel is lit up in different colours and you can enjoy a cocktail at the hotel’s rooftop bar. The rooms are super nice too with a modern bathroom with glass walls and each room has a balcony too. I can really recommend it!

Because I love discovering beautiful beaches and coastlines on my own and rather enjoy non-touristy places we did rent a car and drove around the island to find hidden bays. And we did! I can only suggest you check out the following bays: Cala s’Almunia, Cap Pinar and Cala Mitjana – they are absolutely beautiful. Another great place is the Bar S’Illot right at the coast where we had some delicious olives, bread and aioli – a must when you are in Spain.
