23 Okt EDITED AUTUMN LOOK PART ONE
I am not going to dive into all the – summer is over and it is autumn – conversations, but I am going to dive into the topic of „what do I wear when it is cold in the mornings, warmer later in the day, but I still wanna look put together and feel all cosy and casual“ kind of problem. Because that’s exactly what I am experiencing at the moment. So I will present you two autumn looks with lovely items from EDITED that are versatile and perfect for this time of the year.
So for these two looks (the second one will go online later this week) I was allowed to pick some pieces from EDITED online, which I love because the brands they offer in their online shop are unique, edgy and modern just like their own unique clothing line. EDITED.de is like a melting pot where all those great brands are available in one place and on top of that it features a blog where the editorial team post lovely articles on trends and new ideas on how to style the items available in the store.
Now, the first piece I picked are sweatpants from Maison Scotch that I styled with a very basic black long sleeve top and a cosy oversized cardigan. I always used to believe that I won’t ever wear sweatpants outside my home but this trend got me! Needless to say that I dig cosy clothes especially when they can be styled to look great for day and night time. I like to wear these sweatpants with a rather tight top to emphasize my silhouette a little more, as these pants are heavy knitted and do sit quite „baggy“ and loose. But since they are tight on the ankles they have a lovely cut that won’t make you look big, which used to be my problem with sweatpants. Why would I make myself look bigger than I am, ay?
I chose to go with high heels for this look as I like wearing outfits during the day that I can easily transform into a suitable look for evening activities like going for dinner after work. So if you leave out the chunky cardigan, which I love to keep myself warm and cosy during these rainy days, you’re left with a great night time look. Keeping this look on the grey scale I wanted to have a little pop of colour, so I decided to go for pink nails by Essie in the colour „Big Spender“ and my favourite lipstick by MAC in „Boutique Pink“. The bag I am wearing is by Coccinelle and it just has the perfect size for day and night time – gotta love this versatility! It is not too big and not too small for all my necessities during the day. I just hate small bags that won’t fit all my things in them.
Make sure to check out the second autumn look by EDITED coming soon! xx
