19 Jun Basic is the new fancy

So I went to H&M the other week to get a few basics – I think every girl knows this – from time to time you just gotta stock up on some plain items to mix with your super exciting fashion picks. I wanted a really plain jersey dress that I could dress up and down easily. Guess what… I found one (of course – and I actually found more, I don’t think I can ever just buy the one thing I went shopping for… ). Anyways, grey always works amazingly and I feel this colour is so versatile and classy. To show you guys in what ways you can style a basic and plain dress like the below, I came up with three different looks. The shoe choice plays a vital part here to change the looks completely by just changing the choice of shoe. Let’s see what you guys think!

Es war mal wieder Zeit für eine Shoppingtour bei H&M bei der es nur um Basic Teile gehen sollte. Und ja ich bin mit einem Ziel los: ich wollte EIN Jersey Kleid kaufen und kam mit 4 oder 5 Teilen wieder Heim (aber wer kennt das nicht – meine liebe Pictures of Clementine hat zu diesem Thema übrigens ihren neuen Post geschrieben und einen tollen Look kreiert – hier). Das graue Kleid was ihr unten sehen könnt ist derzeit mein Lieblingskleid und das habe ich für euch in drei verschiedenen Kombinationen gestylt. Hierbei spielt die Schuhwahl eine große Rolle um jeden einzelnen Look komplett zu verändern. Mal sehen wie ihr die Looks findet 🙂

Look 1: The Basic Look

The Basic Look is like the title suggests just BASIC. I’m wearing the jersey dress with these plain slippers (here) from Tamaris in silver and included a little pop of colour through my chosen nail lacquer by P2 in a bright baby blue – love it!

Der Basic Look ist, wie der Name schon sagt – sehr Basic. Das Jersey Dress habe ich hier nur mit Slip-on’s von Tamaris kombiniert die im super angesagten Metallic Look super zum Kleid passen und aus dem Look einen Hingucker machen – und dabei auch noch super bequem sind!

Look 2: The Denim Look

This second look is completed by throwing a denim jacket over to give the style an effortless look paired with my favourite necklace and these very cool (and inspired by the 90s) white plateau wedges from Tamaris (here). I’ve seen these on Kenza Zouiten before and had to find similar ones!

Den zweiten Look habe ich mit meiner Jeansjacke (absolutes Must-have im Sommer wie ich finde) kombiniert und dazu diese weißen Plateausandalen, die ich übrigens ursprünglich bei Kenza Zouiten auf dem Blog entdeckt habe und unbedingt ähnlich brauchte! Gefunden habe ich sie bei Tamaris und sofort zugeschlagen.

Look 3: The Bohemian Look

The third look is my favourite look of them three because it is perfect for day and night time! First of all, anything that has fringes is a getter for me. So this suede coat  from Zara found its way into my closet immediately. I decided to keep the necklace and just change the shoes again – to these lovely plateau sandals that really do remind of the 70s. What do you think? Unfortunately, these are from last season so I don’t think you’ll be able to find them but I found similar one’s here or here for you.

Look 3 ist mit einer meiner Lieblingslooks, nicht zuletzt weil ich Fransen liebe und die Wildlederjacke von Zara Fransen hat! Sie wertet den Look auf und verleiht ihm meinen geliebten „boho“ style!
